Barbery was found with his sister/partner Marionberry during a 100 degree heatwave.  He was brought to Avalon scared and overheated.  He is slowly adjusting to life at the rescue but is still quite shy.  If you give him a little time, he loves to have head scratches and will teeth purr for you.
