Bunny Supply Checklist
Thinking about adopting a bunny? Here’s a list of basic start up supplies that you’ll need. We’ve included links to items that we like and use. Just click on the item and it will send you to the website.
Habitat:
- Exercise Pen
- Flooring/Linoleum
- Blanket (avoid anything with fringe or terry cloth)
- Hiding box: costco or amazon boxes work great
- Potty box
- Pellet or Eco Litter or Potty pads
- Diluted white vinegar in a spray bottle
- Cord protectors
Grooming
- Comb and/or brush
- Swabs for ear cleaning
- Nail trimmers
- Styptic powder
Food/Treats
- Oxbow rabbit pellets
- Oxbow young rabbit pellets (under 6 months of age)
- Timothy hay, oat hay, or orchard grass. Good place to buy is a farm store such as Wilco.
- Ceramic or metal water dish that won’t tip
- Forage mat
- Oxbow or Selective Naturals treats
Toys/Chews
- Links

- Empty toilet paper/paper towel holders
