Capybara was found at just a few weeks old in the backyard of a Portland home.  Since we had just rescued a number of nursing moms, the foster mom of Fern added Capybara to her litter and she accepted him.

He has grown up with Fern’s other 4 babies and is chunky and thriving.

Due to their young age, the bunnies under 4 months old must be fostered in same sex pairs.  The babies will not use a litter box until after they are fixed.  Adoption of the bunny will not occur until after spay/neuter at 5-6 months.
